A repair doesn’t always mean a broken PC, it might just be that you feel your machine is ready for a hardware upgrade or general maintenance/health check.

In all instances we provide transparent pricing & plain-speaking advice.  If we are concerned that the job might be cost prohibitive, we will always say, so you understand all the options available to you.

If you are leaving your PC with us for repair/upgrade, we will keep you up to date on our progress.  We endeavour to work to a fair and reasonable turnaround depending upon the nature of the job and the necessity to source parts.

Scam alerts/virus/malware removal. Are you worried you’ve been victim of a scam? Maybe on your emails.  The banks and other financial authorities may advise to wipe the PC if you believe you have been hacked…Bring your PC to Busyit to identify the type/nature of the threat and we can advise how best to resolve the threat and any preventative measures and practises to protect yourself from future threats.

Is your Data backed up!

A final word on data…You can sometimes find with some of the larger outlets or online stores that your PC goes off for repair and comes back wiped and back to factory settings, with little or no warning that this was going to happen.  With the use of cloud services like OneDrive or Google Drive this isn’t always a disaster but if you’ve tended to manage your data locally you’d be in for a big shock in this instance.  We’re not like this – one of the principles of our service is that your data is precious.  Its typically personal files and photographs or indeed if you are using your PC for work it’s potentially an asset or a commodity.   One of our first questions is always ‘Is your data backed up?’  It isn’t our responsibility to manage your data, but we feel it is important to ask the question.  And if you’re not sure, we’ll discuss how we work with you to protect it.
